I need your help...
So lately I’ve been getting colds a lot. It super annoying. My mom keeps saying it’s because of my “diet” and that my resistance is low. I keep trying to show her/tell her that’s untrue but she wont listen.
So, I need some advice. What should I do? What should I tell her? What would YOU do/say? Help, please!?

madefromrealvegans asked: I just wanted to say a great big thank you for the reblog of my most recent post! Not only are so many more people getting the message about veganism, but I've gotten a ton of positive feed back and have literally doubled my number of followers since you re-blogged me.
So thank you again! It's great to have fellow soldiers in the crusade of compassion!

Anonymous asked: As a vegetarian, and especially a vegan, one should ALWAYS offer to bring your own dish to the meal. The host will be sure to appreciate it, and while it seems like more work, everyone is certain to want to try your different and delicious meal! And because the host may feel a little guilty for not providing you a full meal on their own, they will very likely have some vegetarian side dishes.
mu-ray asked: Dear Veghead,
I recently became vegan and I wanted to ask you about how to politely refuse non-vegan food from people without making a fuse about my eating habits.
For example, refusing a piece of someone's birthday cake is kind of rude, so how would I do this politely without causing a fuss.
Thanks and I love your blog!

FYI
I’m going to be CRAZY busy for the next few days. Two concerts, then I’m playing an acousitc show Friday night. (Any CT people following me? You should go!)
Anyhow, this means I’m going to be away from the computer until Sunday or Monday. I promise to get back to any questions/submissions then.
Have a great week, guys! <3
